As inspiration to primarily the new EU countries, the Topic Centre has supported the Commission in making a methodological guidance note in which national, regional and local competent authorities can find assistance when preparing waste management plans.

The guidance note is available in eight Eastern European languages: Czech, Hungarian, Latvian, Polish, Slovenian, Slovak, Estonian, Lithuanian.
