Resource efficiency policies country profiles

On 24 May 2011, the first day of the GreenWeek 2011 conference on resource efficiency in Brussels, the first batch of country profiles on resource efficiency policies in EEA member and cooperating countries was made available at the EEA website. The country profiles are self assessments prepared by countries, describing the current status of resource efficiency policies, including key strategies and action plans, policy objectives, instruments, targets and indicators and institutional setup and information needs. The full complement of thirty one country profiles will be available in early June.
