The Topic Centre played a very visible role in Copenhagen's annual Culture Night on 10th October, an evening where the doors of public and private buildings across the city are swung open for the public, and cultural events and happenings fill the streets. As part of the Danish Ministry of Environment's contribution, the Topic Centre held an interactive exhibition on Eating Habits and Environment Consequences, which grabbed the attention of hundreds of people during the course of the evening. Through the use of picture shows, photographs, quizzes, prizes, and physical props the Topic Centre effectively communicated three simple messages to the public: eat less beef and dairy products, eat more seasonal organic food and avoid unnecessary wastage of good food through better planning.
