Inspiration for waste management planning in Eastern Europe

As previously announced, the Topic Centre has supported the Commission in making a methodological guidance note in which national, regional and local competent authorities can find assistance when preparing waste management plans.

One of the primary target groups is Eastern European acceding countries, and the guidance note has now been translated and published in eight Eastern European languages: Czech, Hungarian, Latvian, Polish, Slovenian, Slovak, Estonian, Lithuanian.
