Article on selected waste streams on the website

An article presenting the status on selected waste streams is now available at our website. It summerises a report prepared by the European Topic Centre on Waste and Material Flows.

The article describes the generation and treatment of five major waste streams within 17 European countries. The waste streams are sewage sludge, construction and demolition waste, waste oil, waste from coal-fired power stations, and biodegradable municipal waste.

The article appeared in Waste Management World July-Aug 2002, the magazine of the International Solid Waste Management Association, published by James and James (Science Publishers), London."
